Synopsis:

Zedd cade vittima di un misterioso incantesimo che gli fa perdere la memoria e la sua vecchiaia.
Ritrovata la giovinezza, il mago un tempo saggio si convince di poter rimpiazzare Richard con un nuovo Cercatore per trovare la Pietra delle Lacrime e salvare una città in cui è comparsa una crepa comunicante con il mondo sotterraneo.
Toccherà a Richard, Kahlan e Cara salvare un potente e arrogante giovane Zedd da un incontro letale con Darken Rahl ed il Guardiano del mondo sotterraneo.
